FBS Senior Prom Press Release and News Coverage Highlights
On Wednesday, May 6, 2015, Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels will host its Eighth Annual Senior Prom with the help of Lamar Consolidated High School at the Bud O’Shieles Community Center from 10:30 a.m. – noon. Senior citizens from Fort Bend and Waller Counties will go back in time and enjoy a morning of dining and dancing, and will even witness a prom court selection and the crowning of Prom King and Queen.
Themed “A Red Carpet Affair,” the Fort Bend Seniors’ Senior Prom will be complete with Hollywood stars, a red carpet and cardboard Oscars to create a resemblance of the Academy Awards. Decoration donations are courtesy of Lamar Consolidated High School (LCHS) and its student marketing and business organization. LCHS held their senior prom Saturday, May 2, and recycled decorations specifically for Fort Bend Seniors.
